Hands down the best Greek food. My husband and I can’t get enough. We have been going to the blue olive since our first date 15 years ago so this place is really special to us. Jimmy goes above and beyond. The food is amazing.
I was wanting to try this restaurant for a long time but never got the chance. Finally we were in the area and decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed! Helen was our waitress and was quite honestly the best we have ever had anywhere! She was attentive, fun and we had a great conversation with her. The food was top notch. I loved their Mousaka which was made fresh and the flaming cheese looked amazing watching it being served! I will be ordering that the next time we visit! Thanks again Helen for all your hospitality! We will be back 👍👍

Perfect food and service
Entered for a going out meal to end March break and found a lovely little place to eat here and had spectacular food. Amazing service and a fantastic atmosphere. All the food was a perfect price for how it was (i would even say they should up the prices) and food was brought quickly. Absolutely fantastic spot to eat at.
A regular haunt for us, they have the best Greek food in HRM. Consistent quality and friendly service.

I order takeout delivery (partner not well enough to eat out) the food is hot and delicious upon delivery. Manager delivers… and when I open the door he joyfully announces “dinner is served!”. Delicious and delightful! Thank you blue olive!
We ordered take out this evening, we had the Greek family feast for 4 , aswell 2x the Family Pita platters and Spanakopita. Everything was extremely fresh and excellent. We all enjoyed are meals. We will be back thank you to the Blue Olive team 💙
My wife and I haven't had Greek food for almost 2 years since we moved to PEI, so off to Halifax for the weekend. We heard good things about the Blue Olive Taverna and we were not disappointed. From appetizers, mains and dessert everything was perfect, Victoria our server was fantastic and took great care of us, as well as introducing the owner to us. We look forward to our next trip back to Halifax to return to the Blue Olive Taverna...back to the hotel to relax after such a wonderful meal.
Excellent lamb Souvlaki. Greek salad had good dressing and fresh lettuce tomato onion feta olive, vinegar potato had a good crunchy surface. I couldn't finish the rice because I was too full from the other stuff

Sooo delicious ! Potatoes, pork skewers and scallops were melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked. I think it’s a in house made tzatziki, and everything is fresh. Can’t wait to try more here !
Helen is the best. Fantastic service and delicious food. The flaming saganaki is unreal.
